NBTBRV8: Since you're already in Australia then your shipping will be a lot less.

Not sure what you're still looking for. This one has pretty much what you need:

Selectable function for 12V / 40A Power supply or 5 Stage battery charger
Built in 4 digit LED volt meter indicate battery voltage
3 x LED indicate charging mode, ( Boost , Float , Absorption )
Reverse polarity protection
Over load protection
Fan cooled
2 Tone gray / black aluminum casing
Size L260mm x W 115mm H 110mm
Power On/Off switch
Fused IEC power input socket with 1.2m power cable
Weight app 3 kgs
One year workshop warranty. ( condition apply )

What specific feature are you looking for?
Which unit have you quoted here? I contacted the seller you bought yours off in Western Australia and initially her replied through Ebay but not since I email him 2 weeks ago.

It looks good but a bit expensive.

People have gone to Bimmerfest and there was someone who was programming options like Key Programming and turning the European option back on to roll the windows up via the remote. Can this do that?

There is a guy on my motorcycle forums who is allowing people to send him their ECU's for engine tuning software for free of charge, we just have to pay for return shipping. Would this be possible to have certain options turned on/back on, and if so, is it possible that people could send you their ECU's to get programmed?

Weasel will become famous soon enough
The ECU's need to be installed in the vehicle to be programmed, so no remote service with the GT1 setup unfortunately...

And the Euro option for rolling up the windows is not in the US release software... we don't have the option to turn it on. But maybe with Euro software?

I stand corrected on this, but I don't think there is such a thing as US and Euro software. The DIS (other than language) is the same all over the world, the difficulty you guys are having is that as your cars are US cars, when the SSS looks up the vehicle order in order to get a measures plan it recognises that it is a US car so it only give you the US coding options.

This is why with Japanese cars which have more memory in their clusters for their characters, you have the option to code as Japanese, you don't get this with other market cars.
