I have Progman SSS version 32.0.0 dated 2/13/09 which has SSS Base XPE 3.1.0 dated 9/16/09.
This program was on the HD that I received from Yoho when I purchased the GT1 back in June.
I have not been able to get this program (SSS) to run on my T-30 using Yoho HD or on my laptop using either the VMware player or work station.
The T-30 sees the head but displays a question mark over the head. The Vmware programs don’t show it at all.
The DIS (V-55) portion of the program works great on both computers.
Jose was saying that Riaz may have a solution for the Vmware SSS configuration.

Anyway the question I have is what will happen if I remove the TCU module from the system?
I have no use for a Bluetooth, matter of fact I seldom even use a phone in the car at all.
If the quick test doesn’t see it, will it continue on its merry way and allow parameter changes or does it have to be removed from the computer software list?
At present it will not allow me to do any coding changes until TCU problem is corrected.

if the TCU is bringing down the K-bus, you can just disconnect it, no other modules except the MRS module will be looking for it. If the TCU wont code, or diagnois, than i would attemp to repair it with the MOXA(outdated now but still repairs TCU's) If the tcu does not even show up on a short test, disconnect it for 30 seconds, and then reconnect it. and then try to diagnois it.

For those still in the hunt for a battery charger, I was speaking to the local BMW dealer yesterday and they have now been told by BMW to go to the Deutronic DBL1200 which puts out 14.8V, 80 amps.

I've got my Durst power supply which is very good 14.6V @ 70 amps and everything seems to work fine. For the life of me I can't find where you reset the service interval display for an E32.

Can anyone help me?

The service interval on the E32 is reset through the round 20 pin diagnostic port under the hood, look in the E53 tips and tricks to see the procedure.

Nope, it is the common old school way as with all other older BMWs. The way shown with the wire shorting the pins will do it.

Weasel,

Do you know how to display the vehicle order in the SSS? Also when you do a retrofit does the SSS automatically update the VO? I retrofitted bluetooth SA644 and had the ULF coded, however when I go in to the DIS and it loads the vehicle order and highlights in black the modules to be checked in a quick test it doesn't highlight the ULF but does pick it up when it does the run down.

So I want to see that the current VO is. There are two options from memory new context and something else, neither seemed to do much?
