M Sports package for the new BMW X5.

At the 2010 Geneva Automobile Salon the M Sport Package will also be presented for the new BMW X5. It offers ideal ways of experiencing the enhanced sporty qualities of this Sports Activity Vehicle even more intensely and expressing these strikingly in terms of design. The M Sport Package is made up of exterior, interior and chassis components which underscore the dynamic potential of the BMW X5. Larger air inlets in the front apron give the vehicle a particularly powerful appearance. A high-speed set-up and sporty suspension settings emphasise the dynamic character of the vehicle, as do the 19-inch M light alloy rims in V-spoke design. As an alternative, M light alloy wheels in 20-inch format are optionally available, either in two colours or in burnished finish. In both instances, a special mixed tyre selection is used on the front and rear axle which is designed specially for the BMW X5. Even in the 6-cylinder versions, the tailpipes of the exhaust system bear the contours characteristic of V8 engines.

In addition to the M Aerodynamics Package and the M entry strips, the BMW Individual Exterior Line in satinised aluminium design for the surrounds of the side windows and the BMW Individual roof railing in high gloss Shadow Line ensure an unmistakable visual appearance. In the interior, sports seats for driver and passenger, the M leather steering wheel, M driver footrest, the interior strips in fine lengthwise brushed aluminium design and the anthracite-coloured BMW Individual roof liner optimise the driving experience in the BMW X5.

Full press release here
Exclusive, stylish – and unmistakably powerful: the M sports package accentuates the dynamic character of the BMW X5. Bumper and running boards in body colour as well as entry sills with the M logo are only the first in a long line of powerful and sporting impressions.

The 20-inch M double spoke 333 wheels and five special M paint finishes are amongst the package's most striking features. The M sports seats combine the best in comfort and sportiness. This has been achieved selecting a special upholstery material that is exclusive to M seats. The electric seat settings are saved in the memory function to ensure a glove-like fit at the push of a button.

Further equipment includes the BMW Individual features, including roof rails, High-gloss Shadow Line trim, Anthracite roofliner and interior trim in Aluminium, finely brushed lengthwise.

Let me start by saying Thank you very much for sharing....
The guide is Very interesting...It seems different than the american ordering guide(from what my dealer told me over the phone )...at least the packages are different than what My dealership helped me order.
I would really appreciate any infor people have on the US ordering and pricing sheets...From what I can see the premium, cold weather, Sport activity and rear climate that I ordered have been broken up into other packages...and teh tech is different....US ordering info anyone??

It appears the side view cameras aren't available on Canadian spec X5's (unfortunate), so I'm sure the packages in the US will be considerably different. Overall, very similar to the 2010 option packages.
I'm anxious to see final pricing.

On page 5 of the PDF, arrows point to the wheels with 19" Style 335 noted, while the ones in the photo are clearly 214's. Then, on page 6, the wheels are the new Style 336, but there's no Style 336 option on page 12. Is this just bad editing or are 336's unavailable in Canada? Hope they're available in the US!

I noticed that also, I really hope they do make them available, but it's not looking good from this. Also appears that lane departure is only available with the premium and M-sport package.

My bad...even the 2010 ordering guide for canada has different packages...sorry for the confusion.....I guess the US packages for the 5.0 stay the same as what was there for the 4.8 in 2010

Mercedes has the orange peel as well... germans can't paint.
