Guys please help me find the latest Map DVD for the Arabian gulf/ Middle East.

Just updated to v29 no problem.
Activated perpective view but still shows overhead view.
How can I get perpective working ? Do I need newer Nav dvd ?
Using 2005 eu nav dvd in a 2003 M3

PS What are the small grey circles with a dot in the middle on various points on the map ?

After activating Perspective in the hidden menu have you selected it as the Map Direction from the standard menu that comes up when you have the map displayed and click the rotary control?

The circles are described as City Centers, but City is not really the correct word, Destination Centers would be more accurate.

Just tried that and it works.

I still have a MkIII and currently on V18.2 (SW3-1/41)
I would like to upgrade to the latest version that is v27 for the mkIII.

I downloaded the upgrade but havend burned it on CD-R just yet. From what I read on this forum, for some it work's and for others it crashes there system...
offcourse I don't want to crash my satnav, so I asked my dealer if he could upgrade it with official BMW discs.
He says it will take 45 min to install and cost about 50 Euro's.

What would be the best option here?

Upgrading yourself is straight forward, as long as you ensure the CD is burnt as Mode2/Form1. Use imgBurn to burn the CD and all will be well.

ImgBurn advises you of the image format before the CD is burnt, so you can verify it will be Mode2/Form1.

If you feel unsure, then ask your dealer to do it for you.

Yes, It worked... I now have 3-1/64
unbelievable my dealer would charge me 50 euro's for that !

Unfortunatlly I see now big changes... No birdview, no new splash screen, no dutch language...
guess I have to check that NavTweak proggie out

I made the upgrade today to V29.1 but it said updateing and then screen went black.
Left if sit for 10 min and tryed to get cd out, did not work, I disconnected the unit, also no go.
I have the old blue screen back and no nav function.

Please help!
