The DICE has replaced the ice>Link in the states.

Called DICE...no luck

I guess I will need to arrange for a replacement module too. Tom, what do I need to do? Any chance you can send me a replacement module and dock cable so they cross in the mail or do I need to send the whole kit back? I leave on a long road trip tomorrow night and would sure like DICE with me.

OK...so mostly there...

Tom,

I received the replacement...it works well. The balance issue is corrected and we are in business. I am now experiencing another bit of frustration as I am getting the "drop out" another gentlemen experienced earlier in this thread...post 117.

After changing tracks with the steering wheel, the volume drops out for a second and then comes back. Did you ever find a fix for that. I hope I do not have another bad module...kinda makes me question the quality of the product...

Your service and response has been fantastic though...

Thoughts?

What Generation iPod and iPod firmware version are you using?

atillathetom 10-31-2006 02:35 PM

60 GB video...1.2

is 1.2 to blame? Seems like all the info I have gathered here says its OK...

Possibly. Can you revert back to 1.1 to see if the pause is still there? We're seeing the iPod actually having slower seek times with 1.2 firmware.

How does one revert firmware?

I cannot seem to figure out how to roll it back.

There's a couple of ways to do this, do you have a backup of your music?
