Alright, so I went out to test the steering wheel controls, and nope, nothing.

Powers on though!





And confirmed the PIN 13 from the stock harness connects to the Seicane harness Blue Wire AUTO ANT




So, what do I have to connect and where?

Also, the Seicane harness, when connected and the smaller black plug plugs into the unit, there is still a smaller white connector that doesn't plug into anything, and multiple other wires coming out of the harness. Such as KEY1, BACK-CAR, BRAKE CTL, ILL, and CCD AVIN. Anything to be done on these wires?

EDIT: Looking at the Seicane website and their wiring diagram, I did not have the CANBUS decoder plugged into the white plug on the Seicane harness.

Could that be the reason why I don't have sound or steering control?

Gonna go back out and plug that in and see what happens.

UPDATE: I plugged in the CANBUS decoder where it should be, and now I do have steering wheel controls, but still no sound.

EDIT: Do these two blue wires need to be connected to anything?

There should be a black box somewhere. If that box is on that long cable they sent then try this. Plug the long cable into the seicane and then plug the other end into the dash connector.

I think they wired it to work with the cable they sent in that short plug you plugged in to the radio that you have plugged into the dash harness right now.

So plug the long cable (the one long enough to go to the back) directly into the radio. Then plug the short cable you had plugged into the radio into the other end of the long cable and replug the cable back into the dash plug. That should at least get the steering wheel controls working. See if they do. If they do the next part will be easy.

I already got the steering wheels working when I connected the CANBUS decoder box.

I just came back in from the garage, and I used the long cable they provided to connect to the back of the Seicane, and connect to the short cable which is connected to the trucks main large connector.

Steering wheel controls still work, and still NO SOUND

Yes, PIN 13 matches the short blue wire labelled AUTO ANT

Stepping out for an hour have to go grab a few things, then will get back to your answers!
