I'm trying to reprogram the physical buttons on the unit itself so Bluetooth button brings up the BT streaming app instead of the Dialer and just want to assign another button to go back to iBUS app directly.
Be careful with that one as it can conflict with different bios setup on different android units. Some have had some nasty problems using it on other platforms.

Its used allot but it can cause some wacky issues on some radios.

I think I figured it out. I wasn't selecting the app I wanted to launch. Didn't know where the app list was but you just have to tap the icon (green box) with the Android logo and shows you the list of all your stock and installed apps.

Going to reprogram the button with the three dashes for iBUS app and the BT for launching A2DP.

I highly recommend MTCDTools app. I successfully changed two physical buttons and now I have a dedicated button for iBUS and Bluetooth A2DP streaming. I could even program my swc to launch apps but I'll leave them alone for now.

I'll be changing some others as well, especially the MODE button to cycle through downloaded apps vs just the native apps that I will never use.

It also has auto launch option. Since iBUS starts automatically already, I will have the radio app to launch as well so it will be just like stock. Very happy and excited lol

Its a crap shoot if it will work on different android models. Been there done that. Some have had some nasty conflicts back in the day. The older eonons did not care for it.

There has been many revisions since and so far with version 1.9 it's pretty good.

Did anyone tried the Xtrons? I prefer the screen angle on the Xtron. The stock screen angle is horrible in day time.

That's the unit I have. There will always be glare. It was annoying at first but after a year, I don't think ab it anymore.

Downloaded Car Launcher Pro, it's a customizable launcher and one of the skins looks a lot like BMW NBT UI and I placed the iBUS widget at the bottom so I can see outside temp, coolant temp, range and Voltage at a glance all on the home screen!

Adding carplay and a aux port to where the cigarette lighter is next and final mod for now.
