Here in Western NC, the rate of hospitalization of those that have received the shots less than 21% in the state's blather of 'data'.

I felt this quote should’ve been here to serve its purpose better.

The national stats is 0.004% death rate for people who’s taken the shot.

Sure looks like good odds to me. Compared to overall 1.64% death rate of COVID(not finalized, but close enough for discussion purposes)

Closing the gap on that 90 million number of unvaccinated is job one now, IMO.

People who've had covid19 have antibodies for the whole virus.

People who've only been vaccinated x2 only have antibodies for the spike protein and that's why you see breakthrough cases in the "vaccinated" as opposed to those who have a broader immunity.

Also it's pretty hokey that you ignore that 73% of those hospitalizations (as I said before ) in New England were fully vaccinated and the other 27% hospitalized had not had covid19 before, had not been vaccinated, had only 1 shot or had 2 shots but less than 14 days prior to getting covid19.

You might want to read things like the Lancet, Science or the CDC instead of some bullshitter on cable news shows.

If covid were seriously deadly. Not ~1.64% deadly (used Maruzo's stat, didn't look that up). Getting people to take the shots would not be an issue. They'd be lining up for days.

But let's face it, CV19 is not going to be the end of humanity, with or without the vaccines. Let those who wish to roll the dice, to do so. The knowledge is now out there to protect you and yours, let others evaluate the data as they see fit. Hah, they might prove to be geniuses if the rest of us die off in 10 years from some sort of weird effect. I know that's extremely unlikely, it's a joke. Hopefully.

Even with 100% vaccination >12YO the virus won't just disappear. Still plenty of <12YO hosts out there. Vaccinated can still transmit it, and the potency of that wears off according to the data. Boosters will be necessary... this is a long haul thing, if not permanent like the flu, not something we can eradicate. People on both sides of this bickering back and forth as if either has a crystal ball is seriously draining. Personally and on a national level.

I nearly passed away from the delta variant in the middle of August. It was the second time I’ve had the virus.

The first time there was no vaccine. The second time I was waiting to see if the FDA was going approve it or not. I fell ill with delta during the time of the approval. It’s kind of a difficult decision to make, when to this day they can’t figure out how to properly administer it. Anyway..

While I was receiving treatment at the VA medical center, out of hundreds of patients, a small handful of us were not vaccinated. The amount of breakthrough cases was staggering. Their symptoms were no different than mine, and some were still near death.

At the end of the day it’s a nasty virus! Vaccinated, or not, I am not going to take a, “I don’t give a damn” about others approach like some here. What I will say is..

Do whatever it takes for yourselves personally to survive.

Part of making an informed decision is listening to both sides and they taking those points and then finding out what organizations like CDO, WHO etc., the experts, are saying.

Once again, 4-5 individuals per million that were fully vaccinated have had COVID a second time. While it is true the virus does not discriminate it is certainly a galaxy away from being a success story infecting those that have been fully vaccinated.

So out of roughly 327 million, about 1300 to 1600 would breakthrough if the entire population were vaccinated. That’s about 30 persons per state based on 4-5

I can assure you, one that the entire population is not vaccinated. And two, there were a lot more than 1300 to 1600 breakthrough cases with delta.

If your hypothesis above were even remotely true, we wouldn’t even be discussing boosters.

I was surrounded by numerous double vaccinated Vets at the hospital fighting to survive. They were having the same symptoms I was experiencing, at the same severity.
