If anyone is looking for 20" honeycomb wheels then i may have a set coming available in a week or so.they will be like brand new as it's only a week or so of km's. I have just taken delivery of my X5 3.o sd and i'm putting 22"STRUT wheels on. Also if anyone has put aftermarket 22" wheels on a new X5 please let me know what tyres you are running on them. I'm getting very mixed recommendations from tyre shops. Thanks

Attention Australian X5 owners,Can anyone help me ? I have purchased a 2008 X5 sd and have ordered my 22 inch STRUT rims, however, i'm struggling with what tyres i should be running on them. I'm getting various different opinions from tyre shops. If anyone is running 22"s please let me know.
1. they have to have the same roll out diameter front and rear.
2. they have to be load rated
3. front is 9.5 and rear is 11
Thanks.
Pippa

I would only go to 21", if you try and stick to the same rolling diameter with 22" you are not going to have much sidewall area and will result in tyre or rim failures. Plus the ride will be very harsh, the X5 is not lightweight. my $0.02.

Looks like I will have to get this Australian thread going again. The dealer has just given me the chassis number of my new X5 E70 35d M-Sport today. Build date was set for the 13th April or was supposed to be but with the issue of the chassis number which usually comes 7 days before build date it may have been brought forward a week early.

Anyway time will tell!
