There are many opinions about brands.... I have tried MTECS and am now using Hoen brand..... The PIAA ones seem nice as well (would get some if I had a nice site to order them )...If you install a "true" H8 (35w) or H11 (55w) with the same wattage you won't have a problem... You may want to go white as possible rather than blue.. so colour temperature is important the MTECS I had were COSMOS BLUE or 4750k. See the chart below. The Hoens are around 4000K from memory. A picture of the Hoens from their website is also attached.

If you want to match the Xenon's you need to go to 6000k or 8000k lums. Don't go over 8700k because you loose distance.

Thanks guys for your helps...

Another question, want to get a set of wheels for my X5 e70, specially the Style 128...or other bmw wheels at least 20inch, just wondering where can I get them from for a reasonable price in sydney or around australia?(doesn't matter with OEM or replicas)

also, i know that I have post this question before, and got a couple of reponse already, but now I just want to double check if anyone who hasn't got a Xenon option and have Install HID H7 on their low beam on their X5 without any problems?

Thank you so much guys...sorry about the QuestionS...

Thanks to the suggestion of watrob, I got a set of 20s from my dealer's part department for $2500. They were almost brand new, with tyres, swapped over with std 18s. So check with your local dealer. You might want the flares too.

I think it's in the manual... but you need to remove the cover from inside the engine bay it rotates and comes out . The bulb then removes from the headlight housing by twisting the brown bulb connector... the wire is not that long so it's a bit tricky to do.
