How cool would that be to get Mp3/ipod input, and handsfree phone from your Dice?

Maybe just wishful thinking.
We can't confirm iPhone compatibility until the iPhone is actually released - but we will be testing.

Music fading for a second

I installed my DICE kit about a week ago and I've noticed that the 1st second into a new music the volume fades for about a second. It happens everytime on every single music.

Do you have an idea what the problem might be?

PS: This DICE kit was the same module that I use to have on my 330 and it never happened then.

Not sure since the DICE doesn't manipulate the audio any - do you still have the 330 to compare with?

No I don't; I got rid of it. Another thing that I realized is that the text from the display doesn't display after I restart the car. I would have to go and do the "CD 6 - track 6" change. The way it acts is different from what I use to know. In my old car, I only needed to make the change to display the text the first day I connected the kit. What should I be seeing?

This means the DICE is losing power somehow from the CD Changer connector. Are there any other aftermarket devices connected to the electrical system?

Wouldn't do anything to the system, unless it was draining the battery somehow. Email me directly and we'll run some further tests.

Tom,
I think I need your help. i have been using DICE for several months now, without any problems. (X5 3.0d Nav w/o DSP + iPod video 60GB, 1.2.1)
Last week I downloaded the newest iPod software and lost almost all the functionality in my car. The sound is still OK, when I press NEXT (song, album, list) the volume fades for 1-2 seconds, then playing on the same song, and the WORST - the display shows always only: "VOL:68"
Any suggestions?
Pawel

Same problem

I had the same symptoms but I now have control through the steering wheel. All I did was use the control on the IPOD when the problem first occured but I still have the ~1 second drop out when you change the song playing.

You are in AUX mode. Press CD5 and the left arrow once to return to iPod mode, then press CD1.
