However, let me be crystal clear. I am fighting this virus daily. For you to even take a notion that I am not aware of the loss of human life is grossly irresponsible on your behalf.

Communicating with you is not privilege. It’s a choice I make, or you. You have been snide with me in the past years, and I never gave you an ultimatum to continue correspondence with you.

Let me tell you something about little ol’ me. I was the first on the thread to give my condolences. There was nothing snide about that post in any way.

Humans are going to do what they want. Get over it. What you need to do is come up with a plan to protect yourself, your wife, and any immediate family you have close to you from this awful virus. Quit complaining about how people aren’t doing things right.

Also, I never suggested you were angry. As a matter of fact, none of my posts today were directed at any one person. But, as a way to encourage the members of this forum to unify.

Try reading this as if it was a response to you.

This is difficult for everyone but everyone must do their part to get this behind us. Our actions are key to success or failure. Our country has spent billions to help us through this, both to us as individuals and to small businesses to keep their employees on the payroll. Unemployment benefits have been extended to help and unemployment benefits established for those that don't normally qualify for those benefits. Our country is already considering another round of funding for each of us as they have small business. The country has spent billions with a goal to protect us from the virus.

First responders, heath workers, necessity jobs for transportation, utilities, communication etc. have risked their lives for our benefit. Health workers have come from all around the nation to help others in places like NY. Corporations, big box stores and small businesses have voluntarily altered their businesses as their contribution to our welfare. What the country has asked is to voluntarily do our part by following the guidelines.

I will certainly do what is necessary to protect my family. I am also doing so to protect your family and families anywhere. I choose to follow the guidelines, do my part to help get this virus behind us and get as much back to normal as possible. I believe a democracy thrives when the majority of the citizens choose to do their part and begins to fracture whenever people don't. This is what I have been taught and has been reinforced over and over. I was taught that this is how I do my part to protect the future of our freedom. I believe that is a critical part of the foundation of our democracy. If enough citizens don't do their part you will see freedoms taken from from us by emergency declarations that make it a punishable violation of the law and will be enforced by the military. We are so critical to defeating the virus it is inevitable.

Stooping to an inappropriate level is in direct response to equally inappropriate posts.

And, it was easy to tell by all the mistakes in the post that when you attacked me, remember? It appeared you were upset. That post was uncharacteristic of you, and with your family member passing away, your sisters grief, and all that is going on these days I don’t blame you for being upset.

But to take it out on people that mean you no harm, come on, you are better than that. Hey if you need to come to the forum and vent do so. But, you laid into me for posts that were not directed at you personally. Those posts were meant to remind us that were all in this together.

Okay I see your point. I will tune it down a bit, and no more nuclear weaponry.

I moved on to a new business model to make ends meet and feed the babies. Although it seems I am again not allowed to cook up a bit of cocaine to sell to willing buyers. It's a stupid silly consensual transaction between a free manufacturer and a free buyer.

It's a flagrant violation of my right to do business and feed my kids.
I share you thoughts. So far I have only lost a few weed customers. The amount of excess inventory has now become an addition to personal use and I don't have to go to the liquor store.

My posts were not inappropriate. The level you stooped to, was your own action.

You know BC, what is bothering you is tough for anyone. I lost my mother on my 30th birthday, 12 years ago. One of my children never even got a chance to know her. I still miss her till this day.

In October, 2019 I lost my fourth child. Nearly lost my father and daughter in 2020 to the virus. Believe me, I know how hard it is.

The only suggestion I have for you is, take a deep breath and try to start the healing process. Anger and frustration will only make things worse.

Shouldn't the PPE provide protection when out getting essentials no matter if someone was infected and at the same store?

Genuinely curious as to the PPE and distancing when out of the house people are using/going by and possible transmission vector.

Not everyone has sheltered in place or followed the guidelines. Thats a source. No known defective masks in the area. Probably lots of masks that are not acceptable in the guidelines, that could be a source. I don't know how many folks there are not wearing masks. At best here it was somewhere around 20%. Since the staged start of opening it is about 80%. Hard to tell how much social distancing is being done. My guess is that it is a somewhere around 60%. But, that couldn't be more anecdotal.

The first day the public beach opened here it looked like an anthill someone had kicked open. The next day there were police there to force distancing. The city sent out notice to residents and posted at the beach entrance that if it continues the beach will be closed. Dallas has started to put injunctions on businesses that aren't supposed to be open or have not adjusted for social distancing. Even if everyone in the metroplex were following all the guidelines we are still be in trouble as infections and deaths are still increasing, we should still be sheltered in place until infections and hospitalizations have been declining for 2 weeks.

As to what point the virus is expected to be under control. It is when 1 person is infecting less than 1 person. If one person is infecting more that 1 person infections increase. If 1 person infects 2 or 3 the infection will increase exponentially, an extremely small range between the curve going down and a huge spike.

Very sorry for your losses I can't imagine how difficult it has been for you and your loved ones.
