This is difficult for everyone but everyone must do their part to get this behind us. Our actions are key to success or failure. Our country has spent billions to help us through this, both to us as individuals and to small businesses to keep their employees on the payroll. Unemployment benefits have been extended to help and unemployment benefits established for those that don't normally qualify for those benefits. Our country is already considering another round of funding for each of us as they have small business. The country has spent billions with a goal to protect us from the virus.

First responders, heath workers, necessity jobs for transportation, utilities, communication etc. have risked their lives for our benefit. Health workers have come from all around the nation to help others in places like NY. Corporations, big box stores and small businesses have voluntarily altered their businesses as their contribution to our welfare. What the country has asked is to voluntarily do our part by following the guidelines.

I will certainly do what is necessary to protect my family. I am also doing so to protect your family and families anywhere. I choose to follow the guidelines, do my part to help get this virus behind us and get as much back to normal as possible. I believe a democracy thrives when the majority of the citizens choose to do their part and begins to fracture whenever people don't. This is what I have been taught and has been reinforced over and over. I was taught that this is how I do my part to protect the future of our freedom. I believe that is a critical part of the foundation of our democracy. If enough citizens don't do their part you will see freedoms taken from from us by emergency declarations that make it a punishable violation of the law and will be enforced by the military. We are so critical to defeating the virus it is inevitable.

Stooping to an inappropriate level is in direct response to equally inappropriate posts.

My posts were not inappropriate. The level you stooped to, was your own action.

You know BC, what is bothering you is tough for anyone. I lost my mother on my 30th birthday, 12 years ago. One of my children never even got a chance to know her. I still miss her till this day.

In October, 2019 I lost my fourth child. Nearly lost my father and daughter in 2020 to the virus. Believe me, I know how hard it is.

The only suggestion I have for you is, take a deep breath and try to start the healing process. Anger and frustration will only make things worse.

Very sorry for your losses I can't imagine how difficult it has been for you and your loved ones.

Thank you.

The last 6 months have been hell. I try to live my life according to the New Testament of the word of God. I am learning I have so much more to work on. And couple that with some events that have taken place the last few years, and I swear the book of Revelation is playing out literally chapter by chapter.

This past Saturday, a friend of 22 years decided to take his own life. The current environment became overwhelming to him and he was fighting the illness as well.

I just want to keep the good fight going, and hope and pray the loss of human life from any cause can be kept minimal.

I sincerely hope you and your family can recover 100% from this unprecedented circumstances.

Unnecessary/numerous thread notifications. I believe you were upset about discussions in the What did you do today thread triggering the extra notifications.
