Range Rover V27.1

Hi All

I'am running a MK4 with a moded V27.1 in my range rover and considering up dating the operating system to V29, but due to the risks involved i'am not shure about the benifits i would see, has anyone done this and if so is it worth taking the risk, my system is operating ok and i have the 2007.2 DVD with speed cameras, any advice please

If you've not had any problems with the Nav rebooting or crashing there are very few advantages in running V29.1 over V27.1.

V29.1 has a slightly better routing algorithm and in ful screen mode some of the fields for things like radio station names are a little wider, but that's about all that's different, apart from a few small bug fixes.

I was running v27.1 with no problems, upgraded to v29.1 from the link in the first post. Changed the sky image (now 7.61KB) and the splash screen (now 46.9KB) using NavTweak. But the unit keeps freezing and rebooting itself constantly.

Gonna try v30 now and see if that fixes the problem, otherwise back to the version I know worked!

According to this thread there's already a v30 somewhere around, but brings no updates for MKIV
