I gave 3 sources for Pelosi’s visit to SF.

When I questioned your Harvard education, it was only because you were not responding with acknowledgement to the fact that, Pelosi could possibly be the next president. I would assume a Harvard graduate would know this common law.

I think your comment was a passive aggressive insult and a very transparent one. Doesn't matter to me what the intention, I don't know you and the tone of words is often misunderstood. But, I wouldn't have been surprised if I hadn't remembered the line of succession. It's not something I need to keep top of mind and it has yet to happen.

My reference was to the authority Pelosi currently has as compared to that of Trump. I am not downplaying her current position. I was contrasting the difference in the power of the President and her. As speaker she is primarily a watchdog for proper behavior and procedures in the house. The behavior of Trump is not justified or more acceptable by comparing it to the behavior of another. Trump is in charge and as it relates to the pandemic and his authority cancels out any that she has. She can make lots of 'noise' but that's about it. That was my point.

I'm not concerned about your scenario. If it were to happen tomorrow the world would become a much safer, kinder and significantly more rational place. I'm also fine with Biden to Harris to Pelosi. IMO Trump is a malignant narcissist. If that is the case, he has no limits for destructive behavior including nuclear war. He is the polar opposite of a stable genius.

There have been reports of the common flu being suppressed this season from the mask orders. I can’t stand the flu! Maybe now it will be socially acceptable to wear masks during flu season.

I pray the American people are better than our current government.

Aw shucks bc, no need for apologies. I knew what I was getting myself into when I participated in this thread. A few of us have had harsh comments on this thread, but I mean come on, were any of us really prepared for some of the events that took place so far in 2020. I do forgive any comments made, that have been perceived as inappropriate. As well I ask the for the same forgiveness for comments that I have made that were inappropriate as well.

LoL.. As far as the jockeying, my meaning for that was simply our strongly opinionated post over the many years we have shared on xoutpost together of how I, or you feel about E53 related tuning or how systems function, etc. Good times as far as I am concerned. As for who is faster, only a quarter mile run, and a few laps on the track will determine that. And I have to say, sounds fun!

When it comes to Pelosi and Schumer.. I guess I am just extremely frustrated with their do nothing Congress. They are so hell bent on taking Trump down that the American people have been placed on the back burner. O’Connell has been stubborn as well, boots dug deep into the ground! So our senate is functioning one sided. So with 2 of our three branches failing, and an extremely arrogant executive branch, we the American people have suffered. There is an extremely deep divide currently in our country, and it is so bad that it found its way in places one would least expect, like xoutpost. At the end of the day my opinion is, our entire government local and federal should have combated this pandemic. And I personally hold them all responsible for any loss of life that could have been prevented.

Yes indeed he is extremely arrogant. He makes us here on xoutpost with our little skirmishes look like choir boys. It’s hard to tell who he has in his best interest. I state it like this because as a disabled veteran, he has helped me directly immensely. So I personally have reasons to be thankful for.

I agree with Crystal though. It would be nice to see a revamping of our entire government. Maybe that would produce one that actually functions.

It is very rare that I am politically biased. But to be honest, I am not excited about Harris being anywhere near the White House. And, definitely not Pelosi.

A taste of his own medicine. Not adhering to the safety guidelines and never wearing a mask except for publicity photo ops.

It's sad and the news will cause unnecessary financial turmoil in the us stock market along with other negative impacts that are still too early to decipher.

But this is what you get for ignoring health mandates recommended by your own CDC officials.

I want to feel sorry for him, but just think it's really about karna.
